Mississippi First is very excited to announce that MacKenzie Stroh has been hired as our Director of Communications.  In this position, she will guide our communications strategy for marketing and policy purposes.  She will officially join our team later this month, and will assist us in the creation of print and online publications, managing media and public relations, and fundraising.

MacKenzie originally arrived in the Delta as a Teach For America Corps Member.  She served as Visual Arts teacher at Madison Palmer High School in Marks, MS.    After spending a year working for Washington & Jefferson College (PA), she returned to the Delta to work for the Greenville Arts Council.  MacKenzie served as the Executive Director of the G.A.C. for the past three years before joining Mississippi First.

We at Mississippi First are very excited to have such a talented person join our team.  Her talent will be on full display as we launch a new monthly newsletter, redesign our website, and release new policy publications.

Welcome to our team, MacKenzie!
