Mississippi First works to strengthen Mississippi’s democratic process by better engaging our citizens. All of our democracy revitalization activities work to build an informed and engaged citizenry equipped to pressure our legislators and executive officials to adopt new, effective policies or hold our leaders accountable to properly implementing current laws and policies.

As new educational policies are developed and implemented across the state,  it is important for you to have the tools, research, and resources necessary to be an engaged citizen. Mississippi First provides resources for you that will assist you in becoming an advocate for education in Mississippi, providing research on Mississippi First initiatives, and keep you informed on new education policies in the state of Mississippi.
