On April 1, the House and Senate adopted the conference report for SB 2181. The conference report simply removes the reverse repealer from the bill.

Explanation of the Bill

Senate Bill 2181 exempts school district test security plans for statewide assessments from the Mississippi Public Records Act. The purpose of this is to ensure the strength of these security plans.

This act will take effect on July 1, 2025.
